The world really does need a better baby carrier!
I’m excited to share the news! I’ve been invited to participate in the this November in Rwanda.
In the spirit of ‘it takes a village’ the conference will be made up of researchers, policy makers, business leaders, and product developers from around globe. Their common goal is to accelerate the adoption of Kangaroo Mother Care as a powerful intervention for improving and saving the lives of new mothers and babies around the world.
The Product Forum recognizes the key role that baby wearing plays in helping to overcome the barriers and hurdles that Kangaroo Mother Care currently faces. Creating a safe, skin-to-skin carrier for tiny preemies and newborns that also provides comfort 24/7 for the new mother, presents a multitude of challenges.
As the creator of, those are the challenge I set out to overcome, and to have my product be recognized for its innovative, functional design and nurture qualities is a dream come true.
We truly are all in this together, and together, we are changing how we welcome babies into the world. Being a small part of this global village is a huge privilege, and I’ll be sharing my adventure with my village online…that includes you.
